Glitter Iron On Letters & Numbers – Pre-Cut & Ready To Go!
Need glitter iron on letters for an upcoming project or the kids sports clothes?
While you could cut them yourself using an electronic cutter like the Cricut Explore Air 2, you might not be in a position to get one yet. You can buy iron on glitter letters and numbers pre-cut and ready to press with an iron.
Scroll down below to see your options.
Iron On Glitter Letters & Numbers
Glitter iron on letters and numbers can be applied using:
- an iron (as you’d expect!)
- the Cricut EasyPress
- a heat press
If you have an EasyPress or heat press you’re probably going to have a cutting machine as well, and not likely looking for pre-cut glitter letters. Find out more about these machines:

But for now, I’ll assume you’ll be applying Glitter Iron On numbers and letters with an iron.

These products will all come with their own instructions, so make sure you double check and follow those first. Here is what you can expect to be involved though:

- Lay your t-shirt onto a hard flat surface
- Iron out any wrinkles
- Lay out your numbers or letters on the garment
- Cover with parchment paper or a thin protective cloth
- Press down over each section of the design for 10 – 15 seconds
- Remove the carrier sheet from the back of the decal
- Re-press the design for another 10 seconds
How To Make Glitter Iron On Letters
The best way to get glitter iron on letters and numbers, in my opinion, is to make your own! How do you make your own glitter iron on transfers? Here’s what you need:
- A cutting machine (I use & recommend the Cricut Explore Air 2)
- Glitter HTV (see our glitter heat transfer vinyl article)
- Weeding tools
Once you’ve got the equipment you can choose from thousands of free fonts to make your own vinyl numbers and letters.
It does take time and effort to learn how to use cutting machines like the Explore Air 2, but then you’re not going to be limited to simply glitter iron on letters. You’ll be able to cut anything and everything out of a wide range of heat transfer vinyl.
