There are so many Fancierstudio heat press machines for sale, aren’t there? So many, in fact, it’s hard to know which one to choose!
Last time I looked, there were at least ten different Fancierstudio 15 x 15 heat press listings. They all look very similar, and they all basically have the same features and specifications, so which Fancierstudio heat press should you get?
Fancierstudio Heat Press
I don’t personally own a Fancierstudio heat press, but I do have the Power Press heat press, which is almost identical to the machines we’re reviewing here. The differences are basically just in the branding and color.
Fancierstudio machines, and the PowerPress (which is often out of stock), are great for the right people. They are cheap heat presses that allow you to create cool custom clothes for friends and family from home. They are easy to learn to use and they get the job done.
So, the color of the top heat platen is basically the only real difference between these machines. The price can vary as well. My advice is to go with the machine that is cheapest on the day you’re buying.
These machines also come in sizes other than 15 x 15 inches, which we’ll take a look at now, before getting into the specifications and features of all the Fancierstudio heat press machines.
Fancierstudio Heat Press 9×12
This 9×12 inch press from Fancierstudio is a bit different from the 15×15″ models. It is a small swing-away heat press, rather than a clamshell. It’s compact, easy to store and/or travel with.
You can use it for all the same transfers as the other machines. Small heat press machines are good for working with baby and kids clothes.
Here are some of the things these Fancierstudio presses cannot do:
They can’t take attachment presses (such as a mug, cap or plate press)
They do not automatically open or close – you must manually open and close
These machines don’t automatically switch off – you must remember to turn it off

Fancierstudio Heat Press Specifications
The technical specifications for these machines are all very similar (if not identical). They are all built to do the same thing: make custom t-shirts. And that’s what they’re good at.
Here are the general specifications:
Temperature range: 0 – 500℉ (0 – 260℃) – able to press all types of standard heat transfers
Time range: 0 – 999 seconds
Weight: 50 – 60 pounds
Dimensions: approx. 19 x 16 x 17.5 inches
Who Should Get A Fancierstudio Heat Press?
These machines are fantastic for:
Beginners and learners
Making gifts for friends and family
Use for a small online store
Somebody with a limited budget
Start-up t-shirt entrepreneurs
Many people do use these machines for limited commercial use as well, though I would be hesitant to do this. These machines are not as consistent and reliable as other machines (Heat Press Nation heat presses, for example).
I imagine that Fancierstudio machines have a higher rate of faults and returns than machines like the MPress Heat Press. They are more prone to having issues. Though that being said, I’ve never had any issues with my budget heat press!
These machines come with a 6 month warranty as specified under the warranty section on Amazon. There is also Amazon’s A to Z Guarantee which protects you against rouge sellers. However, given Fancierstudio’s time in the market and success in selling heat press machines, they are likely to deal fairly with any claims.
You can find contact details on their website. You can connect by phone, email, or they even have a live chat box at certain times.
Finally, it is worth paying a little bit more for a two or three year extended warranty when you check out. This is usually automatically offered as you’re going through the purchase process.
Making A Decision
With the biggest difference being the color of the heat press machine, I recommend going with the machine that is cheapest.
I think that Fancierstudio power heat press machines are good for the price. No, they are not the best heat press machines, you’d have to go for a US made heat press for that. But Fancierstudio have sold thousands of these heat presses and will continue to do so.
There is a difference in the number of reviews on Fancierstudio machines. However, the overall star rating is pretty consistent.
