What is the best Cricut Bundle?
As you’d expect, it can be much cheaper & easier to get started with a Cricut bundle. Alternatively, you could buy the machine, tools, and materials separately, but you’ll usually end up paying more – who wants to do that?!
Here is a round-up of the very best Cricut Machine Bundles.
Your choice will depend upon:
machine color preference
the types of projects you would like to do
whether or not you already have some tools & materials
It’s so much more exciting to receive a bundle over a solitary machine! Especially if you’re new to crafting with die cutting machines, a bundle is the way to go. The machine is one of many important materials and tools you need to get going.
The Maker, Explore Air 2, and Joy are the 3 latest Cricut cutting machines. We have and use all of these cutting machines and can wholeheartedly recommend them. Each is perfect for DIY crafters working on everything from home decor and scrapbooking to custom designs.
The Maker is the most versatile Cricut machine. It is absolutely fantastic for those with a higher budget. It is able to cut more materials than the Air 2, and can be used with a variety of different blades (for example, the Cricut Engraving Blade).
The Cricut Explore Air 2 is also one of the best cutting machines, and is not all that different from the Maker. However, it is the older of the 2 models. It is perfect for cutting HTV (heat transfer vinyl), vinyl, cardstock, and a range of other materials, but is not as good with thicker and very thin materials.
The Joy is the new Cricut kid on the block! It is tiny and therefore portable and easy for small crafting space. It’s cutting width and the range of materials it can cut are much smaller than the Maker or Explore Air 2. That being said it can also cut special Smart Materials without a mat up to 20 feet long!
In this post we’ll start by looking at the Best Cricut Maker Bundles, then follow with the Best Cricut Explore Air 2 Bundles, and finally finish with the Best Joy Bundles. If you’d like to know more about the differences between the three machines, read ‘which is the best Cricut machine?’

The Cricut Essentials Bundle is the best Air 2 bundle for beginners with a low budget. It has everything you really need, like the scoring stylus, the tool set, and the deep cut blade. You would be buying these things separately before long, if you did not get them with the machine as a bundle.

There are a number of Cricut Explore Air 2 bundles on Amazon. As with the Maker bundles on Amazon, it’s difficult to link to the specific bundles because the sales pages are often shifting or changing, or the bundles sell out.
the Explore Air 2 Iron-On bundle – best for those wanting to create heat transfers
the Explore Air 2 Tools bundle – best for those wanting all the Cricut tools
Most of the bundles bought on Amazon also come with how-to-guides and project idea references. My advice would be to not let those things sway your buying decision – you will find an endless amount of Cricut resources online for free.
When it comes to choosing an Explore Air 2 Bundle on Amazon, think about what you want to make (cards, t-shirts, vinyl decals, etc.) and go with the bundle that tends in that direction.
The Cricut Joy is the newest machine from Cricut, and the smallest to date!
It’s perfect as a label making machine, or for creating small iron on transfers and vinyl decals. It’s extremely portable, meaning you can move it around the home easily, or even take it to a friend’s place. Cricut Joy project inspiration here!
Their are two bundles that are available:

The Cricut Joy Bundle For Subscribers (a range of Joy Smart Materials)
We all know the EasyPress, but did you know you can get it as part of a bundle?!
There are 3 different types of Cricut heat press bundle:
Starter Iron-On bundle – usually the cheapest

Cricut Machine Bundle
Those are all the Cricut Bundles we’ve got to share with you today. We’re always updating new bundles as they are released. Regardless of the machine you choose Cricut Access is an awesome investment that will help you spend more time crafting and less time trying to figure out what to make. You could also consider a Silhouette Cameo as another option if you’re looking for a Cricut alternative.
We wouldn’t recommend getting one of the older machines, like a Cricut Explore Air Bundle, or Cricut Explore Air One Bundle. A Cricut Air 2 bundle is the best entry into the Cricut world. The older machines are becoming obsolete (if they have not already).
